The Law of Attraction

My beautiful bestie introduced me to the Law of Attraction about a year ago and I’ve been intrigued ever since. I am very conscious of what it takes for the Law of Attraction to work but I’ve been stuck in a “one day” or “next week” mind frame about when I’ll start making it work for me.
For anyone who doesn’t know what the Law of Attraction is, here is a basic description. The Law of Attraction uses the power of the mind to translate whatever is in our thoughts and materialise them into reality. Every thought has a feeling attached to it and every feeling has a frequency so just like a magnet you attract what is going on in your mind which works for both positive and negative thoughts.
I know that so many people are probably thinking “that seems too good to be true” or “I just don’t understand how that is possible” which I think are totally valid points. I love the example they used in the movie “The Secret” which was that you don’t have to totally understand how it works to enjoy the benefits. It’s just like electricity, most of us have no idea how electricity actually works but that doesn’t mean we reject it. We use it to our benefit every single day, it powers our home, gives us light and has a million other benefits. On that note I really do suggest watching “The Secret” as it’ll give you the inspiration to give the Law of Attraction some more thought. I was already a believer of the Law of Attraction but watching the secret again really cemented it in my mind to act today.
This is something I felt I had to write about today as it’s making me accountable for my thoughts and actions. I don’t have an exact plan as to how these posts will go but I thought I would share my experiences with my readers, so we can learn and grow together. Ask, believe and receive is the basic formula of the Law of Attraction so in my next post I’ll go into more depth about what that means.
